The most popular service of its kind and one of the most interesting web2.0 applications, the website del.icio.us (pronounced as "delicious") is a social bookmarking web service for storing, sharing, and discovering web bookmarks.Founded by Joshua Schachter in late 2003, and now part of Yahoo!, del.icio.us allows users to manage and share web bookmarks from a centralized source. With emphasis on community power, del.icio.us improves how people discover, remember and share on the Internet.
Other than just being a fantastic service, an important aspect of del.icio.us sums up to the fact you can always import / export / backup your del.icio.us bookmarks in various formats so you are not even committed to using it as your main bookmark tool. You can see all bookmarks of del.icio.us team here. The del.icio.us guys also have a blog and a community.
