According to techscape.tv, (" Charting the rise of mobile 2.0") there is a new "word of the day" going on in the UK nowadays: ‘webutante’. Dawn Bebe, ex MD at magazine publisher Emap Elan, who’s setting up a new Web 2.0 fashion site called Osoyou.com due to launch this summer is quoted by techscape.tv saying:“There’s a new breed of webutantes - and fashion brands - who just aren’t getting what they want - a 24/7 anytime, anywhere fashion forward shopping channel which is stylish and fun.”
With the catchy slogan of "Stare. Shop. Share." Osoyou.com say they will offer a mixture of shopping and social networking, with advertising from high-end fashion and beauty brands. Osoyou users will also have their own "style files" to store favorite items. If you are a webutante, maybe you should check on them later on this summer.
